A New Book- Firstly, a new book doesn’t have to break the bank and it’s a great escape and a fun way to take your mind off of things. Also, you can pick up a used copy from a thrift store, read books for free on your local library app, or use Amazon Kindle Unlimited to access all the books you can read. Here are a few of my favorite books right now:

Morganville Vampire Series– If you’re into young adult and vampire books, this series is one of my all-time favorites. I have read all of the books several times throughout the years. You can buy the books on Amazon or rent them on your local library app.

Reminders of Him– This thriller book is a page-turner that is full of suspense and will have you wanting to devour it. I haven’t met a Colleen Hoover book that I don’t like yet, definitely be sure to check out her other books if you like thrill and suspense. Verity is another good book of hers.

The Guest List– This is such a good suspense book and I recommend checking out all of Lucey Foley’s books as well. Any book from Reese Witherspoon’s Book Club is pretty much a no-brainer must-grab.

Girl On Fire– If you want to be motivated in your life and journey, read this book. Cara is awesome at keeping it real while inspiring you. She has so many amazing self-help books and a pretty awesome podcast too.

Bottle of Wine– If wine is something that you like, get yourself a bottle to enjoy. I love wine and have had the expensive and the cheap stuff and have been to several wineries. At the end of the day, I have no idea the difference between all the names and types- I just enjoy wine! The same as with other things in life, a higher price doesn’t always mean a better-tasting wine.

My absolute favorite dessert/white wine is Risata Moscato and it costs less than 15 bucks at Walmart or Target. It is absolutely delicious and they have a red bottle of the same brand that is good too with a slightly fruitier taste. For red wines, I love Muscadine wine and one of my favorite brands for reds is Freakshow. I have tried probably all of them and they are pretty awesome. You can find Freakshow at pretty much any retailer.

Bath Goodies– I absolutely love taking a hot bubble bath. To fully indulge in the experience, here are a few items that will have you dreaming of bathtime.  Epsom Salt is a must-have for ultimate relaxation and it soothes your mind, body, and soul (and sore muscles too). Eucalyptus and lavender are my favorite scents.

This bubble bath smells great, makes tons of bubbles, and comes in a huge bottle that will last a while.

My daughters and I love these bath bombs. They are fun and come in many scents- and a cute prize inside.

Gratitude Journal– Life can have you feeling bogged down, by all means, this journal is a helpful way to remind yourself of your accomplishments and the things that you have to be thankful for.

Home Decor– Believe it or not, you can get cute home decor for under $10. I use this floral rug in front of my door in the living room and it has held up for over a year now. Also, did I mention that it’s cute?!

Insulated Tumbler– You don’t have to spend tons of cash on expensive name-brand drinkware. I have had this cup for over a year and it still works amazingly. Keeps my ice water cold for over a day and has so many colors to choose from.

Fun Pop Socket– Add some flair to your phone or tablet with a cute pop socket.

Smart Watch Band– If you’re anything like me, you get tired of the same ole plain watch band. Luckily, you can find some really cute ones and they look more like a bracelet than a fitness watch.

Brownies– You can’t go wrong with chocolate, especially when it is actually good for you. These brownies make for a perfect pick-me-up that you don’t have to feel guilty about later.

A Pretty Scented Candle– When it comes to candles, there are more than enough options out there. Diamond Candles are very fragrant and long-lasting. Bonus- they come with a lovely ring inside! Just melt down the candle over time (or dig like I usually do) and you have yourself a fun extra treat.

Go to the Movies– You can’t get snacks and movie tickets for under $25, however, you can get your ticket and a friend’s and grab cheap snacks at the dollar store on the way. There’s something about the atmosphere of getting out of the house and into a relaxing movie theater that just gets me.

Gift Yourself A Gift Card– Now say that one five times fast. The logic behind this one, is you purchase a gift card for a store or restaurant that you really like. Then plan a date to visit said store or restaurant, you already have part of it paid for! It gives you something extra to look forward to.

Cozy Slippers– Of course, I always have to wear comfy slippers while I am at home. Subsequently, these slippers keep my feet clean and cozy at all times.

Erin Condren Planner– As a business owner, blogger, mom, and homeschool mom, I have researched and tried out many planners over time. I cannot rely directly on digital, as a result, I need to write things down to remember them. Erin Condren planners really are all that and a bag of chips. They have a bunch of new designs and I am awaiting the arrival of my Hello Kitty one now. You can personalize themes, pages, and more.

Bluetooth Speaker– If you like to jam out while cleaning or getting ready to go out, this speaker is a great pick. My husband has one, and for this reason, let’s just say he always has to ask me for it. Bluetooth, waterproof, and up to 12 hours of streaming are just some of the highlights of this portable speaker.

Waterpik– Oral hygiene is important. In fact, this handy tool will leave you feeling confident about your smile.
